This year we are hosting a charitable event in support of Women for Women International supporting women survivors of war. #womenforwomeninternational
#IWD is a global event which celebrates women of all ages and cultures for their social, cultural and political achievements. The theme for this years #IWD2020 is #EachforEqual – An equal world is an enabled world.
We are delighted to celebrate this IWD through a sacred CACAO ceremony guided by Jan Muse. #Magicalmuseholistics. Jan is a Holistic Therapist, Reiki Master and Awenydd of the Druid Order. She has many years of experience working with plant medicines and holding sacred space.
Women throughout the ages have gathered together in their communities to share their wisdom and listen to each other’s stories. On IWD 2016 the Global Sisterhood was launched and women from around the world were invited to gather in circle in honour of this tradition. This event was so successful that now in 2020 thousands of women in 11,000 circles & 103+ countries gather in Sister Circles each month. Our cacao ceremony is formally registered on this global map.
“When we come together in equality and acceptance, we allow magic to take place. When we are seen, heard, and held we can transform our insecurities, wounds, jealousies, competitive patterns, and claim our true radiance, unity, and power.” #GlobalSisterhood
We are all familiar with chocolate and we love how it makes us feel. Cacao in its raw form is a psychoactive superfood which has been used in ceremony as a plant medicine as far back as the Mayan and Aztec traditions. It is known as a heart opening medicine helping us to dive deeper into our psyche, assisting us to gain better insights and understanding of our thoughts and feelings and support inner healing.
What you can you expect in a cacao ceremony:
• A scared space to enter into meditation – being able to silence your mind, and connect to the wisdom and spirit within you
• A heart opening journey, allowing time to explore deep seated beliefs and release inner blockages
• Connection to your highest self, your own power and truth
• Time to share in a safe space with other women
• Time to reboot and reset intentions
Following on from last year’s successful event, all proceeds will be in support of the charity ‘Women for Women International’. The aim of this charity is to help women survivors of war lift themselves out of poverty, providing them with the resources, support and skills that they need to transform their life – and the lives of their family.
Spaces will be limited so please contact early to reserve your space. We are asking for £35 investment
